  1. Hi Guys,

Thanks for this podcast. I had a question regarding why the android SDK does not have a callback for permission changes ? Thinking about the use case where the permission was initially granted and then disabled by the user from the settings screen.

If we had this callback it would have been easier to start/stop services running in the background that required a particular permission to work based on if it was granted or denied.

Instead, now I have to keep this service running all the time and first thing I do in the service is to check if permission is available or not.

    Thanks,
    Sam

  2. Hey folks! Loved the new permissions model. I have a case where i need to request permissions from a non-Activity/non-Fragment class and then receive results. I am able to request permissions but I am unable to receive results. I am implementing the ActivityCompat.OnRequestPermissionsResultCallback interface but its method is not being called. Can you please help me with this? Thanks in advance
