  2. Is there any examples (code/articles) of how Youtube is optimizing Exoplayer in reference to their CDN distribution? I'd be super curious to see how thats working.

    1. This kind of optimization tends to be pretty specific to the CDN. For example a CDN might support a feature where appending a special query parameter to the media URL can cause the request to be handled in a slightly different way.

      I don't think we've published anything that details YouTube's CDN and the features that it supports; sorry!
